Two ways to find local work
Respond to individual service requests, or offer appointments near work you already have booked.
- Register your business and confirm your email.
- Complete the applicable identity, insurance and licence checks.
- Choose your services, scope, coverage and genuine prices or quotation pathway.
- Review matching requests or publish fresh neighbourhood availability with consent.
- Share an eligible offer link. Confirm each booking, agree its scope and complete the work through your portal.
Verification and local demand are required; joining does not guarantee work. Review applicable plan and flyer terms before activation.

Send us a job you've already booked. We put a neighbour offer in the letterboxes around it, and the neighbours who book join your run that day. Same van, same morning, more jobs.

How it works
You run your business as you do now. We do the flyers, the booking page and the back-and-forth with neighbours.
Send us a job
Street, date, when you'll be done with the booked job, and your standard prices by home size. Two minutes on your phone.
We flyer the street
We make the booking page and DL flyers with a QR code, send them to you to approve, then deliver them in the days before your job.
You check each request
Neighbours pick their home size and add photos. You see everything first, then accept, adjust the price, or decline.
Do the jobs, get paid
Neighbours pay their deposit straight to you. You invoice the balance as usual. We only charge when a neighbour job is done.
Why neighbours say yes
One van, one street, a morning's work
Travel and set-up are a big part of what a small outdoor job costs. When the van's already parked on your street, most of that cost is gone, and you share the saving.
Four rules that keep it simple
Neighbours book because it's easy and good value while you're there anyway. These rules keep it that way, for them and for you.
Your booked job is yours
We never see or touch the price of the job you already won. Mainhome only covers the neighbours.
Clear published pricing
Publish genuine prices and clearly state the scope, extras and conditions. Any discount must use a legitimate comparison.
Time windows, not exact times
Neighbours book a window that starts after your booked job, like 10 to 12 or 12 to 4. If the first job runs long, you text them. If the new time does not suit, discuss alternatives and review the applicable cancellation terms.
Every house is different
Sizes give a fair starting price. You see photos and ticks before accepting, and confirm the final price before the neighbour pays a deposit. No surprises on either side.

Understand your terms before you commit
Review the current confirmed configuration and your assigned plan with Mainhome before activation. Draft or missing terms are not a free-plan promise.

Jobs and pricing
How do I price a house I haven't seen?
Set prices by size, like single storey, larger single storey and two storey. Neighbours pick theirs, tick anything unusual and add photos. Honour a confirmed fixed price for its stated scope. If scope or safe access is uncertain, use the quotation workflow and obtain agreement before applicable booking payments.
My booked job's quote included a call-out fee. What do I charge neighbours?
Set genuine prices for the advertised scope. Disclose applicable charges and use only legitimate price comparisons.
What if my first job runs over?
Neighbours book a time window that starts after your booked job, not an exact time. Text them when you're on the way. If you'll miss the window, offer the next one or another day. If that doesn't suit, review the applicable cancellation terms.
How far ahead should I send a job?
Eligible verified businesses can publish digital offers immediately with consent. Physical flyer preparation has a separate three-day lead time.
How many neighbours can book?
You set the number of spots. The offer closes when they're filled, or when you tell us.
Money
Who takes the deposit?
Follow the approved booking’s payment instructions. Where configured, payments use Stripe and your connected account; the customer sees the actual amount and method before paying.
When do I pay Mainhome?
Your confirmed plan terms determine any applicable charges. Contact Mainhome to review them before activation.
What if a neighbour calls me directly instead of booking?
Your contact details only go to neighbours after you accept their request. If someone from a Mainhome-flyered street contacts you directly about that day, please book them through the offer so the price rules and records stay the same for everyone.
Requirements
What do I need to join?
An active ABN, current public liability insurance, and any licence your work needs. For example, pest control in NSW needs an EPA pest management licence. We check your ABN and insurance certificate before your first offer goes live.
Which services suit this?
Routine services such as lawns, gutters, windows, car washing and exterior cleaning can suit nearby offers. Other supported services use individual requests and quotations. Attendance, access and licensing depend on the work.
Where do you operate?
We're starting in Sydney and adding areas as more tradies and businesses join.
Can I log in and manage my jobs myself?
Yes. Once we've checked your ABN and insurance, we set up your login for the business portal and email you a one-time link. Mainhome looks after portal passwords, so if you forget yours, just ask for a new link. There you see your calendar with neighbour requests in order of time and distance, accept or decline them, add before and after photos, and send the customer their bill. We still make the neighbour offers and flyers for you.
Ready to join?
Tell us about your business. We check your ABN and insurance, then email you to set up your first offer. Fees are waived for 3 months.
